Tim Sullivan
Chief Operating Officer& Director of Operations
Tim Sullivan has been with Chantilly Air since its inception in 1990 and currently serves as COO and Director of Operations.
Tim is responsible for leading the company and overseeing all facets of Chantilly Air. In addition to his leadership experience, Tim has over 25 years of corporate pilot experience and an extensive background in Part 135 charter operations. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating and has logged over 9,000 accident/incident free flight hours. Tim has served as Chairman of the NBAA Part 135 Committee, was an active member of the FAA’s Takeoff And Landing Distance Rulemaking Committee and the FAA’s Turbine Aircraft Safety Committee. Currently he is an active member of NBAA’s Domestic operations committee, serves on the Air Charter Safety Foundation’s Board of Governors, and is a member of the FAA’s Operation Specifications working group.
Adam Vidoni
Chief Pilot
Adam Vidoni holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating and has over 10000 hours of accident/incident free flight experience.
Adam attended the University of Maryland where he received a Bachelors of Science in Finance. He has been active in the Aviation Industry for more than 25 years and has Airport Management, Charter/Aircraft Management, and Professional Flight Crew experience. He is also an active member of the FAA’s Operations specifications Working Group as well as an FAA Designated Check Airman. As chief pilot his responsibilities include: maintaining aircraft fleet and pilot documentation, training pilots and implementing training programs to ensure that Chantilly Air maintains its outstanding safety and proficiency record among its pilots and aircraft, and finally to create a professional work environment of the highest caliber for Chantilly Air, its customers, and the entire aviation industry.
Caleb Stitely
Director of Managed Aircraft and Charter
Caleb Stitely has over 18 years of business development and marketing experience in the aviation industry.
His experience includes aircraft management, federal contract management, media relations and aircraft charter sales. He is active in professional and community organizations, including the Greater Washington Business Aviation Association where he is currently Vice President and a member of the NBAA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion working group. Caleb studied International Business and Marketing as well as Spanish in Central America.
Jimmy Thate
FBO General Manager
Jimmy joined the Chantilly Air Team in March of 2020. With over 12 years of experience in the aviation industry, Jimmy provides leadership to the Chantilly Air FBO Team.
He earned his B.A. in business management and took his skills directly to the aviation industry having spent time at WheelsUp, Banyan Air Services, and Signature Flight Support. His years of experience at Signature Flight Support in addition to his VIP customer service skills provide insight and guidance to our Customer Service Representatives.
Jeff Windham
Director of Maintenance
Jeff serves as Director of Maintenance for Chantilly Air’s Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate as well as the company’s FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certificate.
Jeff leads a team of highly qualified maintenance technicians and ensures that maintenance events are completed in time and to the highest standards. He also coordinates closely with the operations department to schedule maintenance events on managed aircraft in tandem with crew flight training for the aircraft owner’s convenience. Jeff retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 20 years of service where he served a variety of jobs from Tactical Law Enforcement Officer to Ship Navigator. He is an FAA Certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Aircraft Technician, holds a FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) Certificate, and is a Private Pilot.

Chantilly Air began as a single jet, corporate flight department in 1990
and has enjoyed tremendous success and growth over the years expanding our business offerings to include aircraft charter, management, maintenance, hangar, and ground support.
Our company was originally established as a corporate flight department to support the diverse business entities of our owners, the Gudelsky family, who have enjoyed an established business reputation in the Washington, DC metro area for over 75 years.
Chantilly Air has over 27 years of experience in corporate aviation. With our staff of highly experienced personnel, we are fully capable of supporting your company’s flight operations needs with our aircraft maintenance, fueling, charter, and management services and have ample storage available within our approximately 70,000 square feet of hangar space.
